I’m from Nigeria; I studied computer science for my first degree.  I have chosen to study business information system because it gives me a chance to explore what management and business is all about. And what makes it so perfect for me is that it’s a blend of both IT and management, so in the end I hope to become a hybrid manager.

I come from sunny Singapore in the Far East! It’s a wonderful experience to be living in Britain and I enjoy the food/culture here. I hope to enhance my knowledge of the various complex issues surrounding IT in this course.

I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Accounting with business. I chose to do a masters in business information systems to learn more about the ever growing relationship between information technology and business management. I have always been interested in the links between IT and business and how they complement each other and work together to help businesses improve in terms of efficiency and overall success.

I am from China and have come to the UK to do my MSc Business Information systems from Royal Holloway University.  I chose this particular masters course because I have a background in computer science and am keen to learn more about the importance of management in today’s world. Prior to coming to England, I worked for a software company following graduation from Tianjin University of Technology with a degree in computer science. I am eager to learn about the management aspects with regards to business and the relationship that it has with information technology.

  1. I did my first degree in computer science and systems engineering in Los Andes (Colombia), then worked for 5 years as a project analyst, software developer and project administrator. After, I did an MA and PhD in Hull, and became a researcher and a lecturer. I am interested in making technology more user (human) centred, and with it, making societies better.
